The Machine Operator will operate, tend, and maintain machines related to the textile manufacturing process, assisting to create hotel, hospital and home sheet and towel products.
What will you do?
  • You will arrange and test machines to ensure everything is working properly and in good condition.
  • You will program all operating instructions into machine before running.
  • You will insert production materials to enhance production output.
  • You will ensure all machines are calibrated / re-calibrated before and after production procedures.
  • You will troubleshoot machine problems to determine faults.
  • You will adhere to client job specifications and ensure quality standards are met.
  • You will review and follow blueprints from work layouts to ensure accuracy in production tasks.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience working with fabrication machines
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and/or overtime
  • Knowledge of mechanical devices
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and be comfortable working in a hot/cold non-climate- controlled environment
