Heavy construction equipment dealer in North Las Vegas, NV seeking experienced heavy equipment diesel mechanics for field service. We are a small family-owned, non-union company with a big-company compensation and benefits package! We have locations throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. We are growing and very busy so OT is a must.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Service customer equipment in shop or at customer's jobsite
  • Capable of completing jobs at or under manufacturer's published flat rate repair times
  • Ability to plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
  • Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment

Equipment dealership background ideal

Must be able to lift 75# unassisted

Welding experience

Hydraulic & electrical experience

Mid-level diagnostic ability

Ability to do repairs such as welding, R & R of major components such as axles, engines, and transmissions

Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears

Engine certifications a plus

Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal

Possess a clean and valid Class B driver's license, recent K4 printout required

Must be detail oriented

Ability to multi-task

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
