Job description

K2 Construction in Lincoln, NE is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator. Hours of operation are Monday- Friday 7am to 5pm with some overtime and weekends. Candidates must complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

This is a Goverment Job, must pass background check.

Position:

  • Heavy Equipment Operator-2 yrs. Experience Preferred

Job Duties:

*MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK

  • A Heavy Equipment Operator performs a variety of skilled duties associated with the operation of multiple types of heavy equipment in a construction environment. This includes operating all equipment in compliance with the company’s safety policies and procedures. Our Heavy Equipment Operators also ensure that company equipment, materials and the work site are maintained, kept clean and stored in a safe manner.

Equipment:

  • Motor grader

  • Tractor Disk

Environmental Working Conditions

  • All work is performed outside in heat, cold, and inclement weather.
  • Exposure to all elements of nature
  • Exposure to all types of terrain

  • Work in close proximity to heavy traffic

Physical Requirements
