Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Reno, Nevada
Project Type: Healthcare/Hospital Construction Project
Pay: Competitive pay, based on experience
Employment Type: Temporary / Project-Based

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for a healthcare/hospital construction project in the Reno, NV area. This is a great opportunity for skilled operators who are confident running multiple pieces of equipment and understand site grading requirements.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on a commercial construction site
Run equipment including excavator, skid steer, and roller
Dozer experience is a strong plus
Assist with site work, grading, trenching, backfilling, and compaction
Read and follow grade stakes and understand basic grading requirements
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to complete tasks safely and on schedule
Follow all jobsite safety standards and company policies

Requirements:

Previous heavy equipment operating experience required
Must be able to operate excavator, skid steer, and roller
Dozer experience preferred
Must understand grades and be able to work around grade stakes
Hospital, healthcare, or commercial project experience is a plus
Must have reliable transportation
Must have required PPE
OSHA 10 preferred
