Job description

Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Monday-Friday

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity with a stable schedule and the chance to work on a variety of heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery.

Schedule
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Full-time position
  • Overtime opportunities available
Job Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on heavy equipment and diesel engines
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine service
  • Repair and maintain cranes, excavators, dozers, trucks, and other heavy equipment
  • Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist with occasional emergency field repairs when needed
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and work in various weather conditions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade school or technical training
  • ASE certifications
  • DOT and FMCSA knowledge
  • State inspection license
  • CDL A or CDL B license
