About the Role

PrimECS, LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Project Superintendent to lead field operations in heavy civil construction projects. This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing crews, coordinating with clients, PrimECS engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong background in concrete, site civil, and utility work who thrives in managing complex projects from start to finish.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct daily field operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, track progress, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Coordinate efforts between engineers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain clear communication and resolve issues.
  • Monitor manpower, equipment, and material usage to ensure efficiency and cost control.
  • Oversee inspections, permitting, and risk management processes to maintain compliance.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to crews, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
  • Support company growth initiatives by representing PrimECS and building strong client relationships.


Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven experience in heavy civil construction supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and safety regulations (OSHA and industry best practices).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse crews.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
