Description

 This contract position operates on-site, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to a team focused on delivering high-quality cardiac care.

As a Locum Cardiology Physician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with heart-related conditions. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care while addressing diverse cardiac health issues. The position requires a strong commitment to patient wellness and adherence to best medical practices in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular diseases
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Guide patients on lifestyle changes and preventive care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Provide consultations and follow-ups in a timely manner
  • Educate patients and their families about cardiac health
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
Requirements
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Board certification in Cardiology or completion of a Cardiology fellowship
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Virginia
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in cardiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Experience in a patient-focused medical practice is preferred

Patient Volume: 15

Case Types: Interventional cardiology procedures

Support Staff: APPs and RNs

EMR: eCW

Must be board-certified

ACLS and BCLS required
