Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Analyst.

In this role, the Analyst provides technology infrastructure, data governance, and secure transfer of health information among NYU affiliated physicians, NYULMC faculty practice physicians and NYU hospitals, who work together on value based contracts as part of the NYUPN Clinically Integrated Network (CIN.) The IT team improves healthcare delivery and quality by bringing critical information to care providers at the point of care, focusing on NYUPNs quality, medication adherence, care coordination, analytics and provider engagement services.
Reporting to MCIT Director, the HIE Lead Analyst will be responsible for managing projects focused on supporting robust and sustainable health information exchange (HIE) as well as other IT services for providers, other clinicians and other end users in the NYUPN community. This will include a full range of programmatic, technical and administrative processes that support discovery, procurement, planning, contracting, oversight and evaluation working closely with colleagues in MCIT, practices, vendors, and business owners.

The Lead Analyst will also support MCIT Director manage the research data hub program. MCIT will support research departments and other business units with the build and maintenance of specialized data hubs, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and best practices as well as common services and policies among them.

* Support the implementation and management of NYU’s research data hub program as part of the data ecosystem. Support existing hubs with their IT and data needs and identify and interview prospective new data hubs. In consultation with research and IT leads, identify services and policies that MCIT can offer the data hub program and develop project plans to plan and implement them. * Manage HIE and other CIN IT planning and implementation projects. Maintain all appropriate project deliverables and responsibilities; for example, project scheduling, risk management, change management, issue management and status reporting. * Manage and maintain daily operational tasks to maintain functional exchange HIE and other CIN IT services as well as managing vendors – including Healthix, Optum and Ellkay - for the same daily operations aspects. * Monitor HIE and other CIN IT project implementations for accuracy and timeliness to ensure the focus on successfully achieving the project goals including management of vendors for all connectivity projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:
5 or more years of experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent
Experience required in application/data integration across diverse environments where interface engine and/or health information exchange products were used.
Familiarity with clinical and/or claims data
Have an understanding of clinical work-flow and terminology

Project Management (PMP) certification.
Prior supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with research data and associated policies

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $110,479.19 - $135,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
