Independent Practice | 24-Hour Weekend Call | Every Other Weekend | High Acuity Case Mix

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our collaborative team at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. This position offers full clinical autonomy in anIndependent Practice Model, coveringFirst Call (In-House 24 Hour)shifts every other weekend.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $5,560 - $5,800 per shift (Based on experience | Inclusive of call stipend)
  • Competitive Pay:Premium rate for independent, in-house call coverage.

Practice Environment

  • Facility:St. Joseph’s Medical Center (Stockton, CA) – A 355-bed regional hospital and Level III Trauma Center.
  • Schedule:Every Other Weekend (Saturday or Sunday).
  • Shift Type:24-Hour In-House First Call.
  • Practice Model:Full Independent Practice.No medical direction.
  • Scope:Full scope of practice including regional anesthesia, arterial lines, central lines, and high-acuity cases.
  • Team:Work alongside 14n physicians, 30+ independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 resident physicians.
  • Case Mix:~14,300 annual cases including General, Trauma, Cardiac (~800/yr), OB (3,000 births/yr), and Interventional Radiology.
  • Academic:Work in a supportive teaching environment alongside the Anesthesia Residency program.

Qualifications:

  • Active California RN and CRNA License.
  • NBCRNA Certification.
  • ACLS | BLS | PALS.
  • Ability to practice independently in a high-acuity setting (Trauma/OB experience preferred).
