• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to determine clients' mental health needs, creating individualized treatment goals.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client circumstances.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic techniques, including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision, peer consultations, and professional development initiatives to continuously enhance clinical skills.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Serene Healthcare System, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as trauma, addiction, and various mood disorders. • A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Florida is required.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques pertinent to mental health treatment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to establish rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.

• Experience in addiction treatment and trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic practices (e.g., EMDR, play therapy) will be considered an asset.
• Prior experience working in outpatient settings, particularly with diverse populations, is preferred.
