Job Summary
The Healthcare Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing healthcare projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with healthcare regulations while improving patient care, operational efficiency, and organizational performance. The Project Manager collaborates with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to achieve strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, execute, monitor, and close healthcare projects according to organizational goals.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, IT, finance, operations, and external vendors.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission, and organizational policies.
• Manage project documentation, including project charters, schedules, risk registers, and meeting minutes.
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain effective communication among stakeholders.
• Oversee implementation of healthcare technologies such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), EMR systems, telehealth platforms, or clinical applications.
• Track project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare project reports.
• Support organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.
• Ensure projects align with strategic objectives and quality improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
