Data Solutions Architect
Location: Chicago, IL (Remote options available)
Contract Position
About the Role
Join a forward-thinking team as a Senior Data Solutions Architect, driving the design and integration of advanced data flows and controls. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about tackling complex technical challenges and shaping the future of enterprise data architecture. You'll work closely with technical teams and stakeholders, delivering impactful solutions in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate scalable information systems tailored to company needs.
- Assess current systems architecture and recommend enhancements to optimize performance and security.
- Resolve technical issues swiftly to ensure seamless data operations.
- Lead and mentor development teams, fostering best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct research into emerging technologies, proposing innovative solutions.
- Clearly communicate architecture challenges and updates to stakeholders.
- Evaluate the business impact of technical decisions and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide regular updates on development progress, costs, and budgets.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 10+ years in systems architecture and enterprise development.
- Deep experience creating reusable services in large-scale environments.
- Proven expertise in software architecture design and engineering.
- Strong proficiency building data pipelines and data processing architectures using Azure Cloud and NoSQL.
- Advanced coding skills in Java, JavaScript, Python.
