As a Healthcare Data Architect you'll contribute to our success in the following ways:
  • Own and drive the enterprise data strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational, digital, and AI transformation priorities
  • Define and lead the enterprise data architecture strategy to support scalable, secure, and high-performing data ecosystems
  • Establish, implement, and enforce enterprise data architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
  • Partner with executive leadership to influence, prioritize, and deliver enterprise data and analytics initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between business, clinical, operational, and technology teams to ensure alignment on data priorities
  • Oversee the evaluation, selection, and optimization of enterprise data platforms, tools, and technologies
  • Drive enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata management, and stewardship programs across the organization
  • Design and support of modern data platforms that enable AI/ML pipelines, including feature engineering and advanced analytics workflows
  • Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and healthcare AI use cases, including how data architecture supports model development and deployment
  • Proficiency with real-time streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka
  • Understanding of Lakehouse architectures and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data ecosystems that enable scalable analytics and system integration
  • Ability to design data models and curated datasets that support self-service analytics and data science teams
  • Knowledge of healthcare analytics, including population health and value-based care concepts
  • Understanding of clinical terminologies and standards such as ICD-10, SNOMED, and LOINC
  • Knowledge of interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR for integrating healthcare data across systems
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic and Cerner
  • Proficiency with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau
  • Familiarity with IT service management and workflow platforms such as ServiceNow
  • Ability to design scalable, high-performance reporting and dashboarding solutions across clinical and operational domains
  • Understanding of data integration across clinical, operational, and enterprise systems within secure and governed environments
  • Strong knowledge of data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance in healthcare settings
  • Ability to develop and maintain consistent, trusted datasets that enable faster time-to-insight and support AI innovation

What is Required?
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field
  • 10-15 years in data engineering, data architecture, or enterprise data management
  • 10+ years minimum in healthcare or health IT environments
  • 3-5 years in a Data Architect or Lead Architecture role
  • Strong experience in healthcare data environments, including EMR/EHR systems and Epic and Cerner
  • Proven experience enabling analytics and AI use cases through well-designed data architecture
  • Expertise in data modeling (dimensional, canonical, and semantic models)
  • Experience supporting BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau
  • Experience defining and executing enterprise-wide data strategy and governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated ownership of enterprise data strategy, including roadmap development and execution aligned to business and AI priorities
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment across business and technology teams
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership to translate business objectives into scalable data architecture and platform solutions
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD, DICOM)
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow
  • Proficiency with SQL, ETL/ELT tools, and modern cloud data platforms
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) - DAMA International

You will report to the Chief Information Officer.
The base salary for this position is $185,000-$230,000 annually based on the company's good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
