To thrive as a Healthcare Attorney, you need a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, bar admission, and in-depth knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations such as HIPAA and the Affordable Care Act. Familiarity with legal research databases like Westlaw or LexisNexis, and experience drafting contracts or compliance documents are typically required.
