Job description

Healthcare Business Analyst
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: 40/hr
Must have Medicare/Healthcare experience
Will work closely with the 2 project teams and business partners. Will frequently need to facilitate requirement gathering meetings with various business partners and stakeholders.
1)Responsibilities-elicit and document the requirements for 2 projects: SafetyNet Behavioral Health Children's Mandate Medicare Monitoring This position requires the capability to drive and facilitate teams and working groups towards outcomes related to capturing project requirements including the capability to lay out a plan including timing, and facilitate team discussion to clearly identify and document requirements.
2) Skills-1. Knowledge of Medicare and working with CMS (Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services) / HPMS (Health Plan Management System), specifically knowledge of Medicare Advantage (MA) and Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) or MAPD processes, information, and audits. "Nice to have" knowledge of working with CMS Medicare Parts C and D Oversight and Enforcement Group (MOEG) within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and their respective Program Audit Process and Protocols, Program Audit and Enforcement Reports, and general processes. 2. Process Improvement knowledge via Kaizen or other industry best practices. 3. Gherkin / Test Driven Design / Behavioral Driven Design and Agile/Scrum experience or "exposure." (This position assumes foundational capabilities such as excellent communication and documentation skills, ability to drive and facilitate teams and working groups, etc.)
