Job Description:

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION:Health Care Management Adjunct Instructor

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:For your application to be considered complete, please submit the online application along with a cover letter, resume, and transcript (if applicable). Prior to hiring, candidates will undergo a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle records review, and employer/professional reference verification. After initial screening, additional documentation may be requested.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Part-time position available as Adjunct faculty. Adjunct faculty responsibilities are centered on instruction and evaluation of students. May serve as Lead Instructor for one or more of the following courses: BUSN 2300 Medical Terminology, BUSN 2340 Health Care Administrative Procedures, MAST 2108 Physician's Practice Management.

NOTE: Adjunct Instructor positions are part time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Therefore, your employment is limited and there is no expectation that your association with Chatt Tech will extend beyond this term.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or related fields from a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accredited institution
  • Two years of related work experience
  • Basic level of computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two or more years postsecondary teaching experience in Health Care Management or related subject area
  • Experience developing classes for and teaching in the Blackboard Learning System

SALARY/BENEFITS: Payment is lump sum, amount varies by course. There are no State Benefits. Please be aware that all Chattahoochee Technical College employees must be paid by DIRECT DEPOSIT unless exempted by the State Accounting Office based on "hardship" evidence provided by the employee.
