About the Role

The Business Systems Manager leads the organization’s business systems strategy, data analytics, reporting, and process optimization. They partner with leaders to improve systems, strengthen data governance, and deliver scalable solutions that enhance operations. The role oversees business intelligence, reporting frameworks, system integrations, and continuous improvement while ensuring data integrity and strong end‑user adoption across ERP (Intellidealer), CRM (Dynamics 365), BI (Fabric), and related cloud platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain the business systems strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and support data‑driven decisions.
  • Lead the design, deployment, and enhancement of business intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions.
  • Oversee dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics across tools such as Power BI.
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure accuracy, integrity, accessibility, and compliance.
  • Manage system architecture, integrations, and platform improvements to meet evolving business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes and optimizing system performance.
  • Translate complex business needs into scalable system solutions and actionable recommendations.
  • Integrate new data sources and technologies to expand reporting capabilities and business insights.
  • Direct root‑cause analysis and resolution of system, process, and data issues with sustainable fixes.
  • Oversee intake, prioritization, and execution of enhancement requests, projects, and operational support.

  • Base salary range: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 annually

Position Details

Location: Innisfil, Ontario

Status: Permanent

Position Type: Managerial, salaried position and may be exempt from overtime provisions under the Ontario Employment Standards Act.

Schedule: Monday-Friday - occasional extended hours may be required based on operational needs.

Travel: 2-5%, based on business needs

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in business systems, business intelligence, data analytics, or similar technical roles.
  • Strong hands‑on software development experience with JavaScript, Python, Apache Spark, RESTful APIs, or comparable technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, CRM platforms, Power BI, and modern reporting/analytics tools.
  • Experience designing and implementing system integrations, APIs, and cloud‑based solutions (Azure familiarity preferred).
  • 2–5+ years of leadership experience, either managing people or leading projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting production environments.
  • Background working in Agile teams, with exposure to QA, testing, and release processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Power, Fabric, or Azure, plus experience with emerging technologies (including embedded AI), considered strong assets.

  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract required
  • Completion of a job-related background check in accordance with applicable laws
