About the role:
As the HR Systems Manager for TQL, you will lead the administration, optimization, and evolution of our HR technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday HRIS. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across HR systems, people data, reporting, compliance, payroll integrations, benefits administration, and workforce analytics.
The ideal candidate combines strong HR systems expertise with leadership, analytical thinking, and project management capabilities. You will partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to improve processes, enhance employee experiences, and support enterprise growth through scalable technology solutions.
This is a high-impact leadership role for a systems-driven HR professional passionate about data integrity, process improvement, automation, and HR digital transformation.
What you'll do:
  • Lead the strategy, administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday and related HRIS platforms
  • Manage HR technology initiatives including system upgrades, implementations, integrations, testing, and feature deployments
  • Drive HR process optimization and automation across employee lifecycle functions including onboarding, payroll, compensation, benefits, compliance, and talent management
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and governance of employee and organizational data
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reporting, workforce analytics, and KPI tracking to support data-driven decision-making
  • Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to identify system enhancements and scalable process improvements
  • Collaborate with IT and third-party vendors to manage integrations, troubleshoot issues, and support system performance
  • Lead HRIS-related projects from requirements gathering through implementation and post-launch support
  • Establish and maintain HR data management standards, audit processes, and compliance with applicable regulations and security protocols
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of HR systems analysts and data specialists
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday functionality, reporting capabilities, and HR systems best practices
  • Support organizational growth initiatives through scalable HR technology infrastructure and process design

Who we're looking for:
  • 5-7+ years of progressive HR, HRIS, or people systems experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing direct reports or HR systems teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Hands-on experience administering HRIS platforms, preferably Workday
  • Strong understanding of HR operations including payroll, benefits, employee records management, compliance, and reporting
  • Experience with HR analytics, workforce reporting, and data visualization
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, system implementations, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience improving workflows, automating processes, and scaling HR operations through technology
  • High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and operational excellence
