The Licensed Practical Nurse( LPN) provides professional nursing care to residents in accordance with required medical care and professional nursing practice. This role supervises the activities and provides direction to the Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers.

What You Bring

A sound knowledge and background in Palliative and Hospice Care Nursing and skills

2 Year Canadian Licensed practical Nurse Diploma from an Accredited Post-Secondary Institution

Awareness of appropriate sections of the Health Disciplines Act, Occupation Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, Food and Drugs Act (Canada), Controlled Substances Act (Canada) Health Promotion and Protection Act,

Personal Health Protection Act, Coroners Act, Provincial College of Nurses and Standards of Practice and other pertinent Federal, Provincial and Municipal Statues which influence the operation of the Nursing Home and more specifically Hospice Nursing care.
