Program Manager – Adult Behavioral Health Services

Location: Taylor, Michigan | Full-Time |

Make a real difference in the lives of adults living with mental health challenges. We’re seeking a compassionate, strategic, and licensed mental health professional to lead our Adult Behavioral Health Program—a critical service area that delivers high-quality, client-centered care to individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders.

What You’ll Do:

As a Program Manager, you’ll be both a clinical and administrative leader. You’ll oversee a passionate team while ensuring program excellence, compliance, and continuous growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Supervision:
    Provide clinical supervision, orientation, and ongoing training to program staff. Support professional development and foster a trauma-informed, inclusive team culture.

  • Program Oversight:
    Manage day-to-day operations of adult behavioral health programs. Ensure quality service delivery and documentation practices that align with funding and accreditation standards.

  • Community Collaboration:
    Act as a liaison with community partners, funders, and stakeholders to promote integrated care and sustain key relationships.

  • Compliance & Strategy:
    Navigate the requirements of various funding sources, evaluate program outcomes, and support innovation in service delivery.

Schedule & Travel:

  • Standard Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Friday: 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

  • Flexibility Required: Occasional evenings and weekends based on client and program needs.

  • Travel: Local travel with mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate ($0.64/mile).

What We’re Looking For:

Education & Licensure:

  • Master’s degree in a mental health field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, etc.) – Required

  • Full Michigan Licensure (LMSW, LPC, LLP) – Required

Experience:

  • At least 1 year supervising mental health programs for adults with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders – Required

  • Background in program development and evaluation – Required

  • Strong crisis management and clinical decision-making skills
