This leadership position is responsible for the daily operation of our residential treatment program, ensuring exceptional care for youth while maintaining compliance with Medicaid, Florida regulations, and CARF accreditation standards.If you are passionate about making a difference, developing staff, and leading a high-performing clinical team, we encourage you to apply.What You'll DoAs the Program Director, you will provide leadership, oversight, and clinical support for our residential treatment program by:Supervising Residential Supervisors, Behavioral Health Technicians, House Parents, and Awake StaffEnsuring quality services that meet Medicaid, CARF, and state regulatory requirementsManaging program quality assurance activities and reviewing incident reportsServing in the on-call rotation and responding to program needs as necessaryProviding clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy when neededCompleting residential admissions, assessments, and coordinating referralsAssisting with discharge planning and transition servicesParticipating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, staffing, and Independent Living planningMaintaining accurate documentation, treatment records, and required reportsDeveloping and overseeing residential behavior management systems and point programsMaintaining program calendars for activities, appointments, and treatment eventsProviding crisis intervention in residential, school, or community settingsCoaching, mentoring, and developing direct care staffParticipating in community outreach, partnership development, and fundraising initiativesEnsuring all incidents are properly reported internally and through required reporting systemsQualificationsRequiredMaster's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health fieldMinimum of two (2) years of experience working with children or adolescentsExperience supervising clinical or residential staffValid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to successfully pass Level II Background Screening and meet Affidavit of Good Moral Character requirementsPreferredResidential treatment experienceMedicaid documentation experienceCARF accreditation experienceFlorida child welfare or behavioral health experienceCrisis intervention and trauma-informed care experienceWhat Makes You SuccessfulWe're looking for someone who:Leads with integrity, professionalism, and compassionBuilds positive relationships with youth, families, staff, and community partnersThrives in a fast-paced residential treatment environmentCommunicates effectively both verbally and in writingCoaches and develops employees through mentorship and accountabilityCreates a structured, therapeutic, home-like environment for youthDemonstrates excellent organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skillsWorks collaboratively with multidisciplinary treatment teamsScheduleFull-time (40+ hours/week)Evening availability requiredWeekend work as neededParticipation in an on-call rotationWhy Join SAYS?At St. Augustine Youth Services, you'll join a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing hope, healing, and stability for children facing significant life challenges.
