Position Overview

Joyful Journeys Mental Health Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Professionals, including LMFT, LCPC, and LCSW, to join our growing team. This full-time, remote position allows you to work out of our outpatient office in Henderson, Nevada, while making a positive impact on the mental well-being of our clients. You will be instrumental in developing tailored treatment plans that address a diverse range of mental health challenges.

Work Environment

This role is designed as a full-time remote opportunity, enabling you to maintain flexibility while you provide high-quality care to your clients. Our typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be required to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' conditions and requirements, forming the foundation for personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual needs of clients, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups designed to address common mental health issues, fostering a sense of community and healing.
  • Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and effective care for all clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to clients in distress, with the aim of stabilizing acute situations and ensuring ongoing support.
  • Educate clients about their mental health conditions, outlining treatment options and connecting them with community resources as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of professionalism in documentation practices.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, contributing to the collaborative dialogue about client care in team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Joyful Journeys, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals from various backgrounds who seek help for mental health issues. Your ability to connect with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use challenges will be paramount in delivering effective support and treatment aimed at improving their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Nevada.
  • Strong familiarity with evidence-based practices, mental health assessment techniques, and therapeutic approaches tailored to diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport building with clients and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Proven adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries, with sound judgment in clinical decision-making.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
