Job description

SUMMARY
Safely and expeditiously transports senior citizens and medical patients with ongoing care to and from Grady facilities in order to aid in healthcare maintenance and decrease 911 Emergency activation.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record per department policy and maintain acceptable MVR throughout employment.
  • Must be certified or eligible for certification as a driver for Grady Health System
  • Must be certified in CPR and First Aid in accordance with the guidelines via the American Heart Association
  • Ability to operate a motorized wheelchair van lift and other vehicle safety equipment
