What You'll Do
  • Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side property insurance litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding strategy, case developments, and settlement opportunities.
  • Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal briefs.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys while maintaining ownership of your cases.
  • Litigate matters in Illinois state and federal courts.
What We're Looking For
  • Active Missouri law license in good standing. Licensed in Kansas is a huge plus, but not required.
  • At least one year of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-service abilities.
  • Self-motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced plaintiff litigation environment.
  • Experience in property insurance litigation is preferred
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: $85,000–$160,000, based on experience.
  • Remote work opportunity (Missouri or Kansas based).
  • 401(k)
  • Employer-sponsored health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • No requirement to generate business.
  • A highly technology-forward environment where innovation is encouraged and supported.
  • Long-term opportunities for leadership and practice growth within a nationally expanding plaintiff law firm.

If you're looking for a litigation role where you can take ownership of your cases, work directly with clients, and help policyholders recover after significant property losses, we would love to hear from you.
