Job description

Job Title: HR Coordinator Location: Tulsa, OK Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $18-25/hr Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0 Security Clearance: N/A

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and coordinating onboarding activities.
  • Prepare and maintain employee files and HR records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Support new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Assist with benefits administration, enrollment changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Process employment-related documentation, including status changes, terminations, and performance-related records.
  • Maintain HR databases, reports, and personnel records.
  • Coordinate employee training, development programs, and company events.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs.
  • Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping administration as needed.
  • Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of Human Resources, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, or payroll functions.
  • Experience in a fast-paced corporate, healthcare, manufacturing, or professional services environment.
