Overview

We are hiring an Exercise Specialist to support our Cardiac Rehabilitation program. In this role, you will develop and deliver exercise programs for individuals with medical conditions who require care in a clinical setting. You will use your expertise in exercise science to assess patient needs, recommend appropriate testing and exercise plans, and support the overall success of the department's clinical programs.
What you'll do
  • Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for patients participating in cardiac rehabilitation.
  • Review patient medical histories and determine appropriate exercise testing protocols.
  • Educate patients on testing procedures and exercise plans in a clear and supportive manner.
  • Monitor patient progress and exercise participation in a clinical setting.
  • Support department initiatives, evaluation tools, and other clinical program activities as needed.
Who you are
  • Experience in exercise science, exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of exercise testing, exercise prescription, and patient monitoring in a clinical environment.
  • Ability to interpret medical histories and apply clinical judgment when developing exercise plans.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and support patients from diverse backgrounds.
