Responsibilities
  • Abides by and enforces all compliance requirements and policies and performs these responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with the organization's values.
  • Maintains accurate, complete & confidential informant ion utilized in the hospital Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program and adheres to hospital policies including confidentiality.

  • Provides subject matter expertise in the concepts prefinanced improvement, health equity and patient family engagement.
  • Develops, oversees, and endgames organization 's internal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE il strategy, and other initiatives that foster a culture of inclusion that aligns with organizational strategic plan .
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in the concepts of Health Equity, Pl, and patient/family engagement. providing solutions, training, and recommendations that support navigation of all DEi related mailers.
  • Researches and develops metrics for measuring the impact of DEI initiatives
  • Repones to leadership on the established quarterly performance improvement metrics and results from a DE i viewpoint.
  • Concretes and analyzes complex data using statistical analysis and data visualization lo identify opportunities for improvement to ensure successful execution and evaluate the organization's progress with DEi strategy and other goals.
  • Advises health system organizational and entity leaders on Pl and heath equity initiatives.
  • Assists in the development of strategic relationships with community partners to expand the reach of USA Health .
  • Drives organizational change by identifying opportunities for improvement in processes. care delivery or documentation.
  • Engages executive leaders, staff, campus expert resources, and professional national organizations to design and implement improvement and health equity efforts that lead to publication.
  • Coordinates with medical staff and other multidisciplinary departments to conduct concurrent and respective case reviews for Clinical Safety and Pl initiatives to identify process issues, care issues. and validation of data to be uploaded lo reporting entities
  • Creates reports and presents results and activities to administration. medical staff and other internal and external parties to highlight opportunities to focus improvement efforts and system resources
  • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required

Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in health informatics, engineering, nursing, or a related field and 5 years acute health care professional experience with a clinical background that would facilitate assessment of patient care for coordination of quality projects. Required
