Data Entry Technician (Remote)

Medford, OR, United States

About the Job

The ideal candidate for this position must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated while also taking direction from management. Requires oral/written communication skills and a proven history of providing exceptional customer service at all levels. Our work environment is team oriented and very fast paced, therefore a strong candidate must have excellent organizational and time management skills in addition to a professional attitude that exemplifies the culture.

Part time entry level position within our Customs Brokerage team 15-20 hours per week, hours between M-F 8AM-5PM

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
  • Understand and identify customs documentation
  • Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
  • Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
  • Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
  • Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree
  • Effective interpersonal skills- including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
  • Proficient computer skills- solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
  • Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics
