Depending on client company needs, the incumbent may focus/specialize in one or more of the following areas: disability case management, disease/condition management, injury prevention, first aid/emergency preparedness, and/or health education and promotion. Job Responsibilities: Safety/Health Promotion and Demonstrating Value/ROI - Collaborates with client company management and employees to establish/maintain a workplace that will help to protect workers from occupational illness and injury and maintain regulatory compliance. Follows and implements SHARE processes that monitor, track, trend, and report outcomes so that value and ROI are clearly demonstrated and reported to the customer on a quarterly basis.

Manages program adminisration by utilizing and including the customer in the SHARE process of: goal setting, planning, implementation, evaluation and measurement as a means of accomplishing the desired occupational health goals for the program. May provide oversight and direction to LPN's and wellness coordinators. May function as a leader/member of Corporate Health team of professionals where an integrated service model is in place.

Develops and operates the occupational health program according to the established guidelines and regulations set forth by the federal, state and local laws, professional organization and the SHARE Occupational Health Program. Completes all requested/required reports timely and attends all required/requested meetings/presentations. Provides Health Education/Screening/Counseling through Establishing/maintaining a system for health/wellness promotion, screening, education, and counseling as well as disease management and health coaching.

Ensures First Aid/Emergency Preparedness by applying nursing skills following SHARE Medical/Nursing Protocols and SHARE Clinical Procedures to provide a workplace program for the timely and effective treatment of first aid and emergency incidents. Provides pre and post absence and disability risk assessment to develop targeted plans for pre-identified conditions (mental health/ depression, cardiovascular, and diabetes or metabolic syndrome). Performs interventions that focus on impacting behavior change and maximizing self-management to positively impact the health of employees with chronic conditions.

Collaborates with appropriate departments to facilitate employee success in utilizing available resources (i.e. HR, Workers Comp, Benefits, EAP, Health/Wellness) to improve health status. Provides passive case management oversight to certain cases which involves review, monitoring, and support of work-related and personal disability claim supplier and third party administration activities

Provides active case management interventions to appropriate cases and assist with transitional work program and early return to work program management as well as coordination with long term disability suppliers to document continued disability.
