We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at Evergreen Manor. The Resident Care Aide will provide essential support and care to our residents, assisting them with daily living activities while promoting their independence and enhancing their overall well-being. - Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Monitor and document residents’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
- Encourage and assist residents with daily activities, including meal preparation, dining assistance, and recreation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by following infection control and safety protocols.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members, providing emotional support and companionship.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to resident care and services.


- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to lift and move residents safely, and perform physical tasks as required.

- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
