Position Overview: Dietary Aide (Day Shift)
We are currently seeking a dependable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to support meal service and sanitation operations within our Dietary Department. This role plays an important part in ensuring residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
โ€ข What You'll Do:
  1. Support meal and snack preparation, service, and delivery
  2. Keep work areas, equipment, tables, and floors clean and sanitary
  3. Wash dishes and utensils; collect soiled items and properly store clean items
  4. Review meal trays for accuracy based on menus and diet orders
  5. Store raw and leftover food safely and according to guidelines
  6. Follow all universal precautions, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures
  7. Work some weekends and holidays as part of the team rotation

  1. Patient, respectful, and upbeat attitude - especially when working with older adults and individuals with disabilities
  2. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
