What You'll Do

Set up, adjust, and edit CNC programs for lathes, Swiss machines, and milling machines.
Use shop packages including manufacturing orders, routings, and blueprints to perform setups.
Install and secure tooling; set and adjust speeds and feed rates.
Operate CNC machines and monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency.
Inspect first-run and in-process parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
Perform and document in-process inspections and quality checks.
Replace worn tools and ensure gauges and instruments are within calibration.
Support multiple machine operations simultaneously as required.
Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

What You'll Need

Minimum 2 years of CNC machining/setup experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions.
Strong math skills (including fractions and decimals).
Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail, safety, and teamwork.
