Job description

Job Title: Early Head Start Float
Location: Wonderspring –  Pottstown Center
Pay: $15.75 -17.00 per hour
               
About the Position
Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking dedicated team members to support our Early Head Start program (ages 0-3) at our Pottstown Center.
               
Early Head Start Float
This role provides flexible support across two classrooms (Infant and Toddler) helping ensure consistent care and coverage throughout the center.
  • Support two Early Head Start classrooms throughout the day
  • Assist with daily routines, including caregiving and active supervision
  • Step into the classrooms to maintain ratios and continuity of care
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff

Qualifications
  • Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (or willingness to earn it with a free course)
  • 2+ years of experience working with children, infants and toddlers preferred
  • Strong teamwork and flexibility
  • Ability to keep information private
  • Basic knowledge of childcare rules
  • Must obtain all required clearances and complete a Health Assessment with TB screening prior to employment.
