We are excited that you are considering joining Colorado Rush Mountain in Evergreen as a Head Coach!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate Head Coach shall have the responsibility for planning, supervision, and coordination with the Club’s Director on all aspects of the Program, including but not limited to:
  • Follow the curriculum and direction set forth by the club with the main focus on individual player development in a positive environment
  • Coach, technically, physically, tactically, and managing the players’ behavior on and off the playing field
  • Assisting the Club in identifying, recommending, and preparing players participating in advanced programs or with other age groups
  • The assignment of duties, supervision, and coordination of the performance of assistant coaches assigned to the program
  • Provide a written evaluation/assessment of each player’s development
  • Representing the Club in all manners, including the participation in Club or Club affiliate events such as tryouts or fundraising events
  • Assisting the Club in the planning, supervision, and coordination of recruitment of players for the program
  • Coaches are required to participate in educational programs such as coach’s clinics and coach’s meetings
  • Must have great communication skills and be responsible and abide fully by the Club's operating bylaws and administrative bylaws for compliance, which will be part of a coach performance evaluation
Qualifications:
  • Previous coaching experience
  • Coaching license is required, but you have a one year grace period
  • Appropriate Coaching Education is provided
  • Passionate about kids and youth sports
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be fun, energetic, and enthusiastic
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be available to work on weekday evenings and weekends
  • Be confident and capable of dealing with parents and upholding the Colorado Rush philosophy
Position:
This is a part-time, independent contractor position, working in the fall and spring seasons, August through May with optional summer opportunities. Competitive pay is determined by licenses and experience. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a permanent residence in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.
