About the Role
The Head of Workplace will lead Decagon's global workplace strategy and operations, ensuring our physical environments scale in step with our growth. You will oversee real estate and expansion projects, manage a team of office leaders, and build the systems that keep our spaces running with precision and purpose.
This role requires equal parts strategy and execution. You will shape Decagon's long-term workplace vision, from how we design and open new offices to how we evolve our day-to-day operations, ensuring every detail reflects the company's values and pace.
As a senior leader, you will partner closely with People, Finance, IT and the executive team to deliver world-class spaces that enable collaboration, drive productivity and embody Decagon's culture of excellence.
In this role, you will
  • Lead and grow the Workplace team, setting vision and scalable processes for global office operations.
  • Drive Decagon's real estate strategy by negotiating leases, managing brokers/vendors, and overseeing build-outs and office openings across San Francisco, New York and Europe.
  • Manage workplace budgets and optimize spend across real estate, operations and vendors to ensure efficiency at scale
  • Ensure operational excellence in offices, maintaining high standards for safety, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Partner with People, Finance, IT, and Leadership to plan for growth and deliver spaces that enable collaboration and high performance
  • Build programs and policies that create a consistent, high-quality workplace experience across all locations.

Your background looks something like this
  • 6-8+ years of experience in workplace, real estate, or operations, ideally in high-growth startups or tech.
  • Proven track record leading multi-site expansions and office build-outs.
  • Skilled in vendor management, project execution, and global workplace operations.
  • Strong people leadership, with the ability to build, inspire and scale a team.
  • Comfortable moving fluidly between strategic planning and tactical hands-on execution.
  • Experience working across geographies in the US and Europe
