EA's Global Affairs Team is looking for a leader of the Global Affairs operations team enabling a 200-person Global Affairs organization. The Global Affairs team comprises of Legal, Business Development, Corporate Development, Governmental Affairs, Procurement, among other groups. You'll lead strategic initiatives to ensure operational excellence, financial discipline and technology enablement. You will report to the Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs and also work closely with EA's Chief Legal Officer and Chief Business Officer. This is a full-time hybrid position, requiring three days a week in one of these office locations: Redwood City, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities
โ€ข Serve as a strategic advisor to the Chief Legal Officer, Chief Business Officer, the Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs and the Global Affairs leadership team and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the department's operations effectively support enterprise goals.
โ€ข Design and deliver a Global Affairs operations strategy aligned to business priorities. Lead and collaborate in efforts to optimize the delivery of services to the business. Own and deliver large cross functional projects. Organize and facilitate leadership team and department meetings and events.
โ€ข Lead and develop the Global Affairs Operations team, setting clear expectations, coaching team members and building a service-oriented culture.
โ€ข Manage the Global Affairs budget planning and management.
โ€ข Select and manage technology solutions to drive efficiency in the department - including contract lifecycle management, AI tools, e-Billing, analytics and workflow automation.
โ€ข Partner with department leaders to manage outside counsels, technology providers, staffing providers and managed services relationships.
โ€ข Partner with department leaders and People Experience on talent planning, job architecture, onboarding and other department-wide people processes.
Qualifications
โ€ข Experience leading an operations function with 10+ years of operation experience across people, processes and technology within a corporate or law firm setting.
โ€ข A bachelor's degree in a related field.
โ€ข Strong financial planning and management skills with experience in budget oversight and analysis.
โ€ข Demonstrated people leadership experience, building high-performing teams.
โ€ข Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex projects.
โ€ข Experience overseeing technology solutions and AI initiatives. Experience working with vendors and law firms on engagement and billing practices.
โ€ข Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust, influence decisions and drive alignment across functions. Able to explain financial, operational and technical issues in direct, practical language.
โ€ข A pragmatic 'get it done' attitude with the ability to navigate ambiguity, represent Global Affairs leadership across the enterprise and prioritize projects that provide the most value to the department.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$182,600 - $276,300 USD
* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) *$175,600 - $233,600 USD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
