Head of Finance (HYRBID)

Job Description:

The Head of Finance is responsible for leading the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and operations. This role oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while acting as a strategic partner to executive leadership. The Head of Finance ensures the financial health of the organization by providing accurate insights, managing risk, and supporting long-term business growth. This position may be hybrid, depending on business needs. Experience working with international teams is preferred, and fluency in Hebrew is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial planning and growth initiatives.
  • Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
  • Deliver financial statements, executive dashboards, and performance reports.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Lead budgeting processes and track performance against financial targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee internal and external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Build, lead, and mentor the finance and accounting team.
  • Drive a high-performance culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize financial systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Partner with operations, HR, and other departments to support business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders as applicable.

Essential Skills:

  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • Proven leadership experience in a finance role. required.
  • Experience managing full-cycle accounting and financial operations.
  • Strong expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting and financial management systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (highly preferred).
  • Experience in a hybrid or global work environment.
  • Experience with manufacturing and Department of Defense (DoD) contracts.

Work Environment:

The position is primarily office-based with the flexibility to work in the office two days a week, which are non-set days depending on the rest of the team's schedule. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $200000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
