Position: Head Boys Track Coachย 
Location: Vincennes Lincoln High School, Vincennes, INย 
School Year: 20262027ย 

The Vincennes Community School Corporation is seeking a dedicated, student-centered leader to serve as the Head Boys Track Coach at Vincennes Lincoln High School.ย 

Beginning with the 202627 school year, Vincennes Lincoln will become a first-year member of the Western Indiana Conference (WIC). Members of the WIC for the 202627 school year include Cloverdale, Edgewood, Northview, Owen Valley, South Putnam, Sullivan, and West Vigo.ย 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the track while fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and academic success. The successful candidate will also support the development of a strong K12 boys track and field program throughout the corporation.ย 

Responsibilities:ย 
Provide leadership and oversight for the Vincennes Lincoln High School Boys Track and Field program.ย 
Support and collaborate with youth and middle school track programs to promote vertical alignment in athlete development and program culture.ย 
Work collectively with all athletic programs to support multi-sport participation and promote a positive, unified athletic culture.ย 
Organize and supervise practices, meets, conditioning programs, camps, and off-season training opportunities.ย 
Promote academic achievement and positive citizenship among student-athletes.ย 
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, staff, administration, and community members.ย 
Ensure compliance with all Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) rules and school corporation policies.ย 
Coordinate training and development across sprinting, distance, jumping, and throwing events while encouraging individual growth and team success.ย 







Qualifications:ย 
Varsity-level coaching experience preferred but not required.ย 
Strong knowledge of track and field fundamentals, event training, conditioning, and long-term athlete development.ย 
Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community members.ย 
Appropriate licensure or certification as required by the State of Indiana.ย 
Completion of all required background checks and coaching certifications.ย
