Head of Sales Growth โ€” Comer & Cross Concrete Coatings

Troy, Michigan | Full-time | Reports to CEO

Comer & Cross is the second-largest concrete floor coatings company in the country. 20 markets and counting. We're looking for a Head of Sales Growth who wants real ownership of their role.

Role Summary

This person owns the performance and growth trajectory of the entire field sales organization. Not just managing people, but understanding the underlying data and growth models well enough to make strategic calls on where and how the company scales sales capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly manage and develop the RSM layer; set expectations, coach performance, handle escalations
  • Own hiring, onboarding & training with our National Recruiter & Corporate Sales Trainer
  • Onboarding standards, and performance management cadence across the 100+ rep field organization
  • Build a culture of accountability and high performance across markets
  • Analyze market-level performance data (close rates, fill rates, rep productivity) to identify growth opportunities
  • Partner with contact center/ops leadership to align lead flow, appointment setting, and sales capacity
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with contact center, marketing, and finance to ensure sales capacity matches lead generation and appointment-setting throughput
  • Represent sales in company-wide planning around growth targets
Reporting & Accountability
  • Own the sales-side reporting package (market-level performance, RSM scorecards, growth metrics) up to executive leadership
  • Set and track KPIs for RSMs and cascade appropriately to reps
