Merchology seeks a Machine Operator for our Production team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Machine Operator is a critical role that delivers quality decoration of premium products for our customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A successful Machine Operator will:
  • Successfully and safely run a multi-head Wilcom Embroidery Machine
  • Work at a standing workstation with ergonomic floor mats for safety and comfort
  • Learn to hoop and prepare soft goods to run on an embroidery machine
  • Use hand-eye coordination to thread machine and change needles
  • Read and properly execute production work orders and instructions
  • Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors
  • Monitor the proper functioning of assigned embroidery machine
  • Keep workstation clean and organized
  • Additional projects or duties as assigned

  • Manejar con รฉxito y de forma segura una mรกquina de bordado Wilcom de mรบltiples cabezales
  • Trabajar en un puesto de trabajo de pie con alfombrillas ergonรณmicas para mayor seguridad y comodidad
  • Aprender a colocar en el bastidor y preparar los artรญculos textiles para su procesamiento en la mรกquina de bordado
  • Utilizar la coordinaciรณn mano-ojo para enhebrar la mรกquina y cambiar las agujas
  • Leer y ejecutar correctamente las รณrdenes de trabajo e instrucciones de producciรณn
  • Comunicarse de forma profesional con los miembros del equipo y los supervisores
  • Supervisar el correcto funcionamiento de la mรกquina de bordado asignada
  • Mantener el puesto de trabajo limpio y organizado

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds
  • Basic computer skills to read and print work orders as needed
  • Knowledge of English language to understand safety and training requirements and review and process work orders
