We partner with providers to take a complete approach to healthier aging through patient-specific bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and the only nutraceutical line created specifically to support hormone health.

We're currently looking for an experienced Head of Commercial Capability & Training to join our team.  

The Head of Commercial Capability is responsible for developing the capabilities that enable Biote's commercial organization to consistently attract, develop, deploy, advance, coach, and retain high-performing commercial talent. 

This leader will establish and execute Biote's commercial capability strategy by integrating onboarding, commercial learning, leadership development, sales methodology, certification, coaching excellence, and the Commercial Talent Pipeline into one scalable organization.

The role serves as the strategic partner to Sales Leadership, HR, Marketing, and Commercial Operations to ensure Biote develops exceptional commercial talent while improving field effectiveness and organizational performance.

Why This Role Exists

As Biote continues to scale, commercial capability can no longer exist across multiple leaders without clear ownership.

This role establishes a single point of accountability for developing commercial talent while creating the infrastructure required to support Biote's long-term commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Capability Strategy

  • Develop Biote's long-term Commercial Capability strategy.

Commercial Learning & Development

  • Lead onboarding strategy.

  • Until the Director of Commercial Talent Pipeline is appointed, this position will directly lead the ATM program and build a strong pipeline of future Territory Managers.

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to improve commercial execution.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of commercial leadership experience in life sciences, diagnostics, biotechnology, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Significant experience leading Commercial Training, Sales Enablement, Commercial Learning, or Commercial Capability functions.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership and national sales organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles and the design of scalable, high-impact commercial learning programs. 
  • Experience designing scalable onboarding, leadership development, certification, and commercial learning programs.
  • Experience building commercial competency models, coaching frameworks, and sales methodology.
  • Strong understanding of field sales leadership and commercial operations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and developing high-performing teams.
