Make a difference every day - with a team that values you.
Vivvi is reimagining early childhood education. We're not your typical preschool-and definitely not just another daycare. Our mission is to make exceptional early learning accessible to all families and to create fulfilling, growth-oriented careers for educators.
As a Head Infant/Toddler Teacher, you'll lead an engaging, child-centered classroom where curiosity is encouraged, families feel supported, and your professional voice matters.
Who We Are
Vivvi is not your typical preschool - and we're certainly not just another daycare!
We're reinventing early learning for today's families by creating environments where children thrive and educators are truly valued.
At Vivvi, our mission is to provide exceptional education for young children while empowering teachers to do what they love in a supportive, inspiring community.
About the Role
We're looking for a Head Infant/Toddler Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a difference in children's lives. In this role, you'll create a nurturing classroom environment, lead engaging lessons, and support each child's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
What You'll Do:
  • Care for and nurture infants and toddlers in a warm, engaging environment.
  • Design and implement creative, inquiry-based activities and lesson plans.
  • Support children in reaching key developmental milestones through exploration and play.
  • Build trusting, open relationships with families through consistent communication.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom that encourages discovery.
  • Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to uphold Vivvi's mission and curriculum.
What We're Looking For
  • Have 1-5 years of experience working in a Head Teacher capacity
  • Hold an Associates, Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Are already or are willing to be CPR and First Aid certified
  • Are fully vaccinated against COVID
  • Have received or are open to receiving your flu vaccination (Vivvi Upper East Side only)
Why You'll Love Working at Vivvi
Competitive Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly rates of $23-$29.40 based on level of education
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Commuter benefits and tuition reimbursement

  • Ongoing professional development days
  • Opportunities for promotion and leadership
