Start Date: ASAP

Huron Valley Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and innovative Women's Lacrosse Head Coach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Able to instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for athletes to realize a degree of individual and team success

2. Experience as a player is desired but not necessary

3. Coaching experience preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:ย 

1.ย  Provide proper safeguards for maintenance and protection of assigned equipment sites

2.ย  Perform duties which may be assigned by the Athletic Director

3.ย  Instill in each player a respect for equipment, and school property

4.ย  The position includes other unusual aspects such as extended time, risk injury factors and ย  due processย  predicaments

5. ย  Schedule all practices, clinics, camps and competitions

6.ย  Continue to grow professionally by attending seminars and clinics

7.ย  Maintains discipline and works to increase morale and cooperation

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 8.ย  Implement and design clinics in order to promote the sport

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:ย  High School diploma and/or related experience.

LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS:ย Ability to speak and write effectively.ย ย Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.ย ย Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
