Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Workday HCM Project Manager to lead the implementation of Workday solutions. The role involves working with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish objectives, manage project progress, and provide updates to leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Work with project sponsors and stakeholders, including Workday Services, to establish project objectives, procedures, plans, and performance standards for the implementation project.
• Coordinate the activities within the plans that are assigned to Cohen & Co.
• Track, manage, and resolve project issues as they arise throughout the project life cycle.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights, align objectives, and implement best practices.
• Manage project progress including timeline & milestone tracking, project issue & risk tracking, meeting coordination, and holding stakeholders at various levels accountable for completion of assigned tasks.
• Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on project status, risks, and opportunities.
• Formulate reports by extracting required data from various sources related to project status, progress, and roadblocks.
• Support team members, including leaders, on project management concepts and processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of ten (10) years prior experience in Project Management, with proven success managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of five (5) years prior experience successfully managing implementation of Workday HCM and Financials implementations.
• Strong organizational, facilitation, and negotiation skills will be required to drive results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to make formal presentations to leadership.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead internal resources to work together to resolve complex project problems.
• Ability to independently shepherd complex interactions and situations.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Sense of urgency to deliver both short-term and long-term results.
• Ability to set clear expectations and hold cross functional teams accountable to all deliverables.
• Ability to influence teams to identify project requirements and workflows that align with Workday best practices while meeting the needs of the Firm.
• Ability to lead teams through influence and collaboration in a matrix organization.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage through ambiguity and complexity, and support multiple, simultaneous project phases, multiple stakeholders and articulate dependencies and interrelationships.
• Proficiency with various project management styles and software.
Preferred:
• Prior experience implementing Workday PSA a strong plus.
• Experience in the Accounting and/or Professional Services Industries a strong plus.
• Management of projects with significant technology aspects a strong plus.
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
