Job description

Overview:
A thriving, community-based outpatient practice in Lake Hopatcong, NJ is seeking a Board-Certified or TRULY Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join their growing team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a flexible schedule, manageable patient volume, and a mix of clinical care and leadership within a collaborative, well-supported setting.


Position Highlights:

  • Outpatient-only primary care setting

  • See 20โ€“25 patients per day

  • Schedule: 36 clinical hours + 4 admin hours weekly
    (including rotating Saturday shifts and light call)

  • Treat patients of all ages across the continuum of care

  • Key responsibilities:

    • Preventive care, acute illness/injury management, and chronic disease treatment

    • Prescribe medications, vaccinations, order tests, and specialist referrals

    • Supervise support staff and provide team-based care direction

    • Ensure complete and accurate documentation per E/M and HCC coding standards

  • EMR system: Athena

  • Full credentialing and privileging process required


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $220,000โ€“$240,000 (based on experience and training)

  • Performance Bonus: Earn up to 35% of net collections after base draw
