Job description

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for assisting director of Rehabilitation Services Department Supervisor with the coordination of interdepartmental communication, office management and office work. Performs all secretarial, clerical and receptionist duties for the Rehabilitation Services Department including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, and Orthopedic Technology.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Prefer one year of experience in medical office secretarial work. Type 40 words per minute. Knowledge of Computers, word processing and Window. Ability to train and supervise secretaries, strong organizational skills, ability to delegate and coordinate all office procedures. Attention to detail, organization and ability to prioritize workflow is necessary.
  • High school graduate or equivalent. Two years of undergraduate college of technical school in secretarial related duties preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work well with others and perform in situation which may require immediate action in order to get the job done under pressure.
  • Eligible for promotion to lead office coordinator once appropriate education and experience is obtained.
