Job description

Job Title: Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Consultant

Job Location: Sarasota, FL (Remote with Travel)(Need local or from neighboring states to FL)


Overview:

 We are seeking a consultant to support our client’s Hospital Billing team with Charge Master (CDM) initiatives. This role is critical in helping consolidate, clean up, and configure our CDM, while also mentoring and guiding our internal analyst team. The consultant will work closely with both operations and project analysts to ensure proper system setup and knowledge transfer. This engagement is expected to begin immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support for Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) initiatives (must be HB certified).
  • Lead CDM consolidation, clean-up, and configuration efforts.
  • Support and configure the Charge Router.
  • Apply operational knowledge of CDM to guide system and process improvements.
  • Utilize Excel expertise for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
  • Mentor and train full-time analysts, sharing knowledge of system setup and configuration.
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical analysts and operational stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience as an Epic implementation analyst.
  • Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) certification required.
  • Proven experience with CDM clean-up, consolidation, and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Charge Router and CDM operations.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work with both operations and analysts.
  • Ability to quickly adapt, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
