Job description

Position Overview

Our Drivers transport bulk and packaged products to customer job sites, operate our vehicles to manufacture and deliver product in to blast holes and provide general blast crew labor as needed.

Driver candidates must have a valid CDL Class A or B with current Hazmat and Tanker endorsements as well as current medical certification. If you need either of these endorsements we will assist you in obtaining within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities of the Position

  • While carrying out daily responsibilities safety and compliance must be the first priority.
  • Must be reliable and able to work closely with other location and crew members to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Load and unload vehicles ensuring products are handled, transported and stored according to policy and regulations.
  • Work outdoors in all types of weather, lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more of product and material on a regular basis.
  • Pull hoses, shovel and frequently walk, bend or squat.
  • Attend training and be able to to demonstrate knowledge and competence of vehicle operating systems and product application.
  • Available to work overtime to meet customer objectives.
  • Assisting as general labor on customer site locations after arriving with product

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must possess a valid CDL license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and current medical certification.
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Position requires ability to pass a background check conducted by the ATF to possess and handle explosives.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and handle physically demanding work outdoors on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to work under various weather conditions on rough terrain.
  • Must be self-motivated, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic.
