Work EnvironmentTransporting hazardous materials, often in specialized tankersDriving various types of trucks, including tankers, across regions

What company in Texas is paying truckers $14000 a week?

Some trucking companies offering Hazmat and Tanker driver positions advertise high weekly pay, sometimes reaching $14,000 for experienced drivers with specialized certifications. These roles often require hazardous materials endorsements, tanker endorsements, and a clean driving record, and they typically involve long-haul routes and safety compliance. However, such high pay rates are uncommon and usually associated with highly experienced drivers in specialized or urgent freight sectors.

What pays more, tanker or HazMat?

Hazmat and tanker truck driving jobs generally offer similar pay, but tanker drivers often earn slightly more due to the specialized skills required for handling liquid cargo and the potential for higher risk. Both roles typically require certifications such as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and may include additional endorsements, which can influence earnings. Factors like experience, location, and company also impact salary levels for these positions.
