Job description

Earth Smart Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Environmental Field Chemist and Driver to collect, identify, and package/lab pack various hazardous/non-hazardous waste and transport in accordance with EPA and DOT regulations. The Senior Environmental Field Chemist will also provide assistance to the junior chemists as needed when requested by management, ensuring compliance and reporting to Operations as needed, keeping records and turning in reports when requested, profiling completion/tracking/compliance, and coordinating disposal times for loads.

Other essential functions and responsibilities include:

  • Maintain knowledge and training of job aspects
  • Undertake responsibility and compliance of jobsite
  • Manage services and ensure client/customer needs are met or exceeded
  • Work as part of team and provide leadership

Qualifications:

BS Degreed science curriculum (Chemistry, Environmental, Biology or other with General and Organic Chemistry) or industry related experience Preferred / Not Required

Hazardous Waste Lab packing experience Preferred/Not Required

Knowledge of 40 CFR and 49 CFR

Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT Endorsement considered a plus but Not Required

Ideal candidate will be able to lift 50 pounds
